Chile 2010:
This year, our country was 200 years old. So, it was a big party in all the street and places. The people are more cheerful, and the government did culture progams everywhere. Every communes celebrate with diferents event, and for the 18th of september the people of our country drank chicha, terremotos, and ate empanadas and a lot od meat.
But... we are mature??? Does 200 years wise to the people???
I don't think so.
Have you look at the streets???
Have you listen our lenguaje??
Have you see the parks??
The people here thinks that were are the 'Europe' of America, thinks that were're the most advanced. But, are we???
The truth is that we are more incivilized of what we think.
Here, we don't know how to speak, and that is not for the wrong education (wel, in some cases yes), but mainly is cause the 'flaites' have taken the power of everything!!!!!!
Every time are more of them, it seems the new plage, cause is contagious. Maybe if they do something like read a book, and make a good music, or even just speak well! the problem won't be so bad.
But, in every corner thare ir one of them, and in the placed that they live, the normal people can walk, because they will be robe at least.
Besides, their aperiance, it's so akward. They pluck their eyebrows!!!!! and cut their hair like a regaetonstar, but ten thouthand worst!!! And the clothes, are so ugly (I know that is like a rascist opinion, but, I really hate them) I can't help it... It's like a new species, but not more advanced.
This plage is in every ages, from primary kids to the old guys. Is like a new culture without culture, cause the reggaeton isn't a culture for those who don't know.
Why??? why is that happening here?? why not in Europe... Because 200 years old are nothing!!!
When we are fighting with arrows, in England the people allready have subway.
The people in Europe knows that you have to read at least 1 book for month.
Or speak well, or don't throw the garbage in the streets, or appreciate the good music. Why???
Why that can't happend here???
Why people like Anita Alvarado sing a horrible song and hundred of stupid people buy the disc???
I don't know, but I really hope that in the next 200 years, the people in Chile change his way of thinking. I allready be dead, but, I'll be happy for my heritage.
(Don't think that I'm rascist please) xD

Books!
I remember that for my 11th birthday my mom gave me a little book called "The little Prince". I all ready knew that book, but only by name. It took to me a couple of month start to read it. When I finally read it, I felt great. I loved the book in all it's simplycity.
The years past. I was a teenager, when I knew my first boyfriend, who loved The Little Prince too, even more like me. So it was a very special connection, (besides the music), so in his birthday, like a present, I gave it to him the book with colour drawings (years later he got a tattoo of the little prince, weard jaja).
In the mindtime, I read book like "Rumble Fish" and "Outsiders", I loved too. Or "The Perfume". "The Hobbit" blow my head off, so I read the entire saga of Tolkien.
One summer, I was in Pichilemu, and I don't know why, I decide to brought a book called "Extraordinary Stories" of one guy called Edgar Allan Poe jajaja. I enjoy it so much his stories.
That was the last book that I remember I read, untill this year, when a important person (who the last year gave me the book "A Clockwork Orange") gave me this time a book called "Butterflies inclosed in my" by Poldy Bird.
I don't knew what the book was about, neither him, but, when I started to read it, I just cry. It took me 2 days to finish the book, and I felt that return my love for the reading.
Since that day, I come back to intereted in books. Every time that I go to the Persa, I try to get a new book. (The last time I bought a new "Little Prince" again).
Now the book that I want is Trainspotting, by Irwin Welsh, but isn't in simply persa, it's in a bookstore. So, when I have money, I definitely buy it.

GreenEyes
-Where do people learn about enviromentally friendly practices?
There is some tv programs, in most cases, kids programs. The government has programms to teach the people to care and keep safe the enviorentment. And I hope that in every city hall there are too.
- Have you incorported recycling into your habits? Describe
Yes, my mom for example, has a dump for the garbage of the kitchen, and has another to the papers and cartons, or anything like plastic or something like that. And I put the dead batteries in a sac.
- Do you use a bike or your legs instead of a car?
Both, but usually, because of time (cause I always late) I have to use the public transport. In my day off, I like to ride a bike in my neighborhood, to visit a friend or something like that. I don't know how to drive a car, I prefer to walk, especially if is a nice day.
- Have you joined or supported any eco-organisations? Why/Why not?
No, because I'm to lazy for that. And I don't have the time. I've joined for facebook in some stuff, but that doesn't help anyone. It's a stupid think that facebook could change anything, but, I show my moral respect.
- What else have you done /would you like to do?
Emm, I'm really lazy for things that need initiative, like workshops or organizations of anything. If I could vote for something that brings help to the environment, I'll do it. If a have to pic up some trash in the street, I'll do it (I really do that). If I go to some park, I put the garbage together for later put it in a dump. And I don't release the garbage in the street. (That is so "flaite") jajaja
- What have you done to reduce your carbon footprint?
Nothing, I don't know that something could be done about it. But now that I know, I could plant some vegetable in my backyard (like my grandma'). Maybe if the governments legalize the marihuana probably it will be so many oxygen in the world.
- What's missing in our society/Santiago regarding this issue?
A real awareness about this problem. Maybe it doesn't affect us now, but with certainty, our childrens or grandchildren will be affected.

Hobbit
In the article of the Guardian, the journalist talks about the next movie of the saga of Tolkien, The Hobbit. This beloved book for me it's the next project of Peter Jackson, the latest director of the triology of The Lords of the Rings.
In the text mension that the possible location for this movie it's Britain. The other movies was filming in New Zealand, and for me, it's that country the only trhat can bring us a paradise like the middle-earth.
In the others films, we enjoy to discover Rivendel (the place of elphos) or the shire, were the hobbits lived. So, like the main actors will be appear again in their same characters (like Gandaf the Grey) is logical that the place must be the same.
I'm sorry for the englands, but only the idea of that the movie will be recording in the same studios of Harry Potter makes me sick. Besides, to film in a place, the result are more satisfacty when the place it's already knowing. I don't care if they are proposing places to the movie. THIS FILM MUST BE FILMING IN NEW ZEALAND!!
Jackson knows what the people and fans of Tolkien wants, that's why his film were so successful, he can imagine the book in pictures without offence to the audience (like some others directors, like the stupid one of Dragon Ball).
The british poeple wants all for them. The already have the best music, writers and films. Leave the rest in peace!!
Tilva Rôs
The last week I went to the Film festival of Valdivia. In that place, I saw a movie that blows my head off, Tilva Rôs.
This it's a movie about teenagers, but, not like the typical movie about young and stupid people. This movie was beyond. With a perfect soundtrack, and images in video of the pricipal characters doing stuff like Jackass (the old program of Mtv) we melt into their reality and life.
The story takes place in Serbia, specifically in Bor. A group of Skaters called Kolos spend their summer vacations filming videotapes, skating, drinking and laughing.
The two protagonists, Toda and Stefen, enjoy the hours of the day doing whatever they want.
The special of this film, is that the characters, aren't really character, are themselves. The director of this movie, found a videotape recording by Stefan and Toda when they was 18 years old. In that tape, there appear skating and the most of the time doing stupid things like Jackass.
Technicaly, this film is perfect, with a beautiful photography, and music in the right time, this movie gives to you a bomb of emotions like none of the last movies that I saw this year have bring me to me.
I really hope that this film came to the theaters to see it again, but I don't think so. It's not for all kind of people, you must to identify with the characters to really enjoy it.
The magic of this film, it's that is so personal, and it has elements like the music that is so hard to find in others films, that make of Tilva Ros, one the best movies that I saw.
PD: I've never couldn't love this movie if LuchO didn't show me before most of the grups that appear in there, that is a fact =)
PD2: I love Stefan!

The two years I was passing for a sad time, cause I had many troubles and disapointments; the people that I loved most was the most dangerous for me. But when I arrived to the port, I felt release, and free, and really really happy. All my problems and sadness seems dissapear for a few days.
The two time I went with girls who help me a lot to feel great, and never forget all the adventures that we past, like pass to a cementery in the night and when the guard came we have to throght the beers to the floor and jump almost 2 meters. Or when spend a night in the street dancing a celebrating with the other people, and smocking in the hills with view to the ocean, or eating hot dogs in the square, listening the drums in the streets, enjoying the melon with wine (jajaja), or comming back making "finger", etc. Besides, the fireworks are awsome, and seems it will last forever.
Obviosly I have more favorites places, like Valdivia, every year is like a low to me go there and my classmates for the Cinema Festival. But there it seems always like a dream, and I keep it that way, like a dreams that last only for 4 days. In Valpo I know my reallity, and I put my feets on the grown, and still, I'm happy there. Because you must make your own hapiness and not depend of the others, you have to risk and explore all the places and feelings to feel you alive, and move on.
Valparaíso makes me feel fearless, but insecure sometimes at the same time (because you never know what will happend there), but for all over, even having so much memories and melancholy in those streets, I feel free, and I always want to go back!

Travel?
If I can have the possibility of travel to anywhere of the world. I don't really know what country I will go first.
Definitely I will go to France, and I will walk for the famous streets of Paris. And I will visit the Louvre, and every corner of the city. I will eat a lot of food, pizzas and all kind of wine in the riverside. I will take millions of photographs of everywhere and everyone. Obviously I will buy some clothes.
Another country that I like to go is USA, only for Ney York. My dream is know the places that Woody Allen it's so in love. Besides, I think that I could be in so many concerts of so many bands that never will come to Chile (like Nathan Williams) that makes me mad about it.
But really, the first country that I would like to go is Greece. I love their culture, their mithology, and their ruins.
I went once before, when I was 10 years old, and I only travel for Athens, I didn't know the island, and I've heard that they are the most beautiful of the country.
And who knows? maybe I will can discover something about my origins.
If the place it's perfect, I would like to stay there, or any other city in Europe, because the culture in the old continent it's so rich, and the people isn't crazy like in North America or here.

The First Term of 2010
This Picture was taken the last sunday before to came back to class. And is the reflect of all my last semester (even if the day is over, you can still find something nice).
I'm cursing the third year of Cinema. So, this last semester I have to write a couple of scripts and I also worked in some classmate's shortcut.
If I have to talk about this last months, I necessary have to talk about my friends and the new people that I knew. I've spend so much time with them, that makes me forget all the sadness that I felt the last year. Even the earthquake was like a party with them.
I also watched so many films, in my home or in the cinema. (For the first time I went to a 3-d movie jajaja). And I discovered a lot of new music like Carusella or Wavves (by a friend).
In March I won a ticket to a concert, the band was Korn. It was the first time that I went alone to a recital. It was so much fun. (Now I have to spend a lot of money to see Pixies, Queens Of the Stone Age, Mars Volta and RATM).
Suddenly the semester ends and came my birthday. My 22th years old in July.
I recieved one of the best gifts, I made a big party with all my old and new friends, I run away to Valparaiso, and I finished in a comisary (that was a missundestanding).
After that, with some girfriends went to San Antonio and enjoyed of the peacefulness of the beach. And when I came back, I had to face the reality.
Now, I have to start this new semester, with the hope that this can be even better.

Cinema
The Movie "Head On" directed by Fatih Akin is another film that blow my head off. It's so bizarre thet I love it. It's about a crazy love who break every racional bounderies. For start, both characteres knows each other in a Psychiatrist for trying to commet suicide.
She is Miranda July, a film director, actress and writer who made the film "You and Me and Everyone we know". A little story about love, sex, art and feeling that I love. She is so smart and fragil. And her wrotes are son beautiful that inspire me to see beyond.
One of the directors that enjoy most are the Coen Brothers. Joel and Ethan, are so clever to develop their movies that everytime that I see them I love it more. Films like "Fargo", "Miller's Crossing", "Big Lebowski" or "No Country for Old Man" are just master piece.
And for the last, but no less important is Woody Allen. He with his ingenius scripts, his funny movies and stories about love and life in general are so great, that there isn't another filmaker who exceed him.
I know that I left many other in the inkwell, like P.T. Anderson or Danny Boyle with Trainspotting (one of the best in the world) but I have to do another work now, so. That's It.
See ya!

Every year since I go to university, me and my classmates travel to the city of Valdivia, to participate in the Film Festival of that city perfermed. This event it's almost sacred for us, because it's the time when we forget all the responsabilities of our lifes and university (jajaja).
In the image appears three friends that I love so much. And the river thet they are looking is called Calle-Calle.
The days in that place are so peaceful, the air that you breath it's so clean, and the arquitecture it's also beautiful. You can walk for all the city and never get bored. And the food! It's delicious. They sell sandwichs in a pub called "Ultima Frontera". And if you want eat fish or food like that, you can go to the market in the creek.
Every time that I look this picture it remains me that moments, that we enjoy of watching movies all day (like 4 each day), or drinking beers in the river, or dancing in the casino of the city, even with some of our teachers.
I remember when that day, one of our teacher bought us like, I don't know, 50 beers in a pub?
To all my class. It was so funny. Or when in the night we saw Nicolas Lopez (director of Promedio Rojo) and we laught of him and his awful movie. Or how some louts wanted to fight against my two friends in that picture, so we have to face them. Or how this first year that I came, I have to do "dead dog" beacuse we don´t have money for the fuel, so with two of my friends in the picture have to run for the street at night (like how start the movie Trainspotting). That it's one of my favorites memories (ajajajaja).
At the end, the city is so great, that if the movies that we see are bad, we don't care. Because we have all the rest, and I will always continue taking pictures there.

The Strokes
I could talk about Nirvana and how Kurt Cobain blow my head off with his lyrics, and how I cry everytime thai I see his videos and documentaries; or how I pay more than $130.000 to see Mike Patton the last year with Faith No More and Zu; or how I love Cat Power and her alcoholism; or how I love every riff of Queens Of The Stone Age; or how I dance with the music of Animal Collective when they came to Chile and how this band revolutionized my concept of music (like also did Broken Social Scene).
But if a have to choose one, defenitly it could be The Strokes!
This band change mi way of feel the music, it isn't only just listen one song in the radio and recording in to a cassette (in that time), it's dancing his songs everywhere, it's sing it everywhere. It's listen all his lyrics and cry and laught with it. It's associate every song to a moment that you have once, a person, a boyfriend, a hug, a place, a trip, a nice day.
The Strokes (like Nirvana did once) change the music in this days. I in the year 2001 when they show us his first album "Is This It" the people turned crazy. The look of they always untidy, but handsomes, and a propossition of life like it was in the 70's, with riff and voices no so refined were a reference to the all new bands of garage rock or alternative rock that began to apear like The Vines, The Hives, Kings of Leon, etc.
The 2005 this band came to Chile, with Kings Of Leon for the SUE, I was in high school, and nobody in my group of friend like the band so, nobody want to join me, and as you can imagine I couldn't go. And that it's one of the few things that I regret about it in my hole life!!! I should going alone. Now I only wait that they relese his new album, and come back again.

Piece of Tecnology
My favorite piece of tecnology it's a thing that already have many years, about a 100 years. This is the fotographic camera.
First it was the daguerrotype, that give us a picture en almost 7 hours, using plaques of cooper. Then it came the paper plaques. And then the firts cameras as we usually know.
Why I like so much this intrument? Because captured moments, precious moments that I like remember always... It's not only just take a picture, it's more than that. It's create something with your view and give them live. It's see the light beyond your imagination.
If you want to, you cant give them movement. There is a technic called "stop motion" in the cinema, that is about put many, many fotograph together, in secuence acording the movement of the subject, many films of animacion or video clips are done with this form.
It's also fun develop the fotograph in a dark chamber, when you turn on the red light and see how the light burn the paper, and then put this paper in the chemical liquid for keep the figure. That is something that a few people know how it's feels.
My father is who teach me everything that I know about fotography. Since I was I little girl that I join him developing pictures. And i love it.
I hope that when I finish study cinema, can I also study fotography, and use both career to do what I like.
This is a video done using stop motion

Guernica
Pablo Picasso's "Guernica" is one of my favorite master piece. Painted in 1937, by this spanish artist, it was keeped in many museums (like The Museum of Moder Art of New York) before it came to Spain
This work is a symbol of the crimes against the spanish people by the power and abuse of the dictator Franco who rules the country in that time. But it was the Republic of Spain who pay the paint.
The colors are in black and white and some greys, and his size is about 3,50 x 7,80 meters. It's very large, and complicated to interpret. If you see it carefuly, you will see many action in the canvas. Like for example: a black bull, who according to Picasso represent the brutality and darkness. There is a mother with a dead child in her hands, who represent the city of Madrid in the hands of Franco (very similar with the Piedad). There is a horse too, a dead soldier, a woman in knees, a house burning in flames, etc.
This remarcable work respresent for me, all the chaos in the world (not only Spain) in that time, the horrible of war and destruction, and how there are some people who dares to say "stop".
Besides, the art and style of Picasso it's really the best of the last century.

Priests, pederasts and privilege
This world is falling apart. When it turns down so quickly?
Really, it makes me vomit thing about priest and adults that enjoy to corrup little children.
What kind of perverssion they have in their minds?? And how are they so selfish that they didn't care about their little victims.
The horrible of this, is that the most of the time this kind of crimes is also covered by very important people, people who has power. And they forget the rights of our kids. And someother allow that.
